Radiorizzonti è stata fondata nel 1987 e ha iniziato le sue trasmissioni dagli studi di Piazza Libertà a Saronno già nel mese di giugno dello stesso anno. La sua frequenza è stata rilevata dall’ex Radio Saronno Continental, nata nel lontano 1976, con gli studi situati in via San Antonio.

Nata come strumento per favorire la comunicazione tra le diverse realtà cittadine, la radio ha costantemente ampliato il proprio ruolo e la sua capacità di influire sul tessuto sociale. La sua vocazione non-profit è evidente, con una particolare attenzione rivolta alle realtà associative, ricreative, culturali e di promozione umana. Nel corso della settimana, vari programmi danno spazio anche alle realtà più sconosciute di Saronno e dei dintorni.

Una radio impegnata, ma non solo: Radiorizzonti offre anche intrattenimento con programmi musicali e suggerimenti utili, sempre attenta alle tendenze musicali giovanili. Grande spazio è dedicato ai generi preferiti dai teenager, senza però dimenticare le persone più mature e le canzoni che hanno segnato la storia della musica leggera italiana e internazionale

Radiorizzonti was founded in 1987 and began broadcasting from the studios in Piazza Libertà in Saronno in June of the same year. Its frequency was taken over from the former Radio Saronno Continental, which was established back in 1976, with its studios located on Via San Antonio.

Originally created as a tool to connect the various local communities, the station has continuously expanded its role and ability to influence the social fabric. Its non-profit vocation is evident, with particular focus on supporting associations, recreational, cultural, and human development initiatives. Throughout the week, various programs highlight even the lesser-known aspects of Saronno and its surrounding areas.

A station committed to social issues, but not only that: Radiorizzonti also provides entertainment through musical programs and useful suggestions, staying attentive to the latest youth music trends. The station dedicates ample space to the genres most loved by teenagers, without forgetting the older generations and the songs that have shaped the history of Italian and international pop music
